Yes, I've been around here for many years but never needed to post a picture and can't find a thread about doing so.  I need a little help.

I don’t have android, but on iOS, you click on the “add files” button, then select from photo library, I assume it’s very similar to android.

As mentioned, press the Add Files button. You should see something like this:

Press Files if it's a photo in your gallery. Select the right photo.
