Three wheels

Featured Replies

Well I've done things in my life that were pretty silly, and I thought I'd grown up a bit since then, but the little boy inside me has come to the top again.

I need help from all the Aus members to find one Simmons F15 wheel. I bought three the other day from a bloke who was basically giving them away, $300. The blokes at work are calling me the three legged dog.

A new wheel is $600 so if worst comes to worst I can get one but who wants to pay full price.

Your help would be appreciated if anyone knows of someone or sees one in their local wreckers.

15x anything as I can get the rim sections changed, the centre with our 114.3 PCD is the important bit.

I have attached an image of the wheel.

Have you tried 'Wheels' in Howitt st Ballarat, buy, sell and do excellant repairs/restos.

They are nice wheels any simmons are great looking :classic: . Don't feel too stupid, I installed new tie rod ends and ball joints and didn't grease them with a grease gun because I thought they would be pre-greased. I drove home last night to hear that same sound as when my old tie rods needed replacement, was not happy that squeeky awful noise I might have to do them again unfortunately.

Which means buy a good grease gun and don't be an idiot in future Gavin.

Maybe I should write a post about that and see if I stuffed them.

Hey Alan, the wheels in your picture are 5 lug. Your profile says you have a 260z which is a 4 lug car. Did you change the hubs and stub axles or did I miss something?

No Carl you haven't missed anything, the picture of the wheel is off the Simmons web site. My three are definately 4 stud.

Alan.
