I need some help identifying these carbs, and finding a good rebuild kit for them. They are on my 73 240, and they don't match any of the descriptions and pics I've seen.

They look like the standard 73 hitachi  flat top to me, but I'm no expert on them.

Yes, they definitely look like Hitachi Flat-top carbs.  I hear there are a lot of issues with the flat-top carbs.  I have a 73 and the previous owner swapped the flat-top carbs out for SU carbs.  I'm glad he did.

 Check out the thread, "We're bringing back the flat tops". Lots of info there that may change your mind about them.
