My order took the slow boat from Thailand to save shipping costs -- about 2 1/2 months -- but they arrived today and my first impression is very good. These are used Recaros that have been re-covered. Love the factory retro look -- the material and workmanship seem good quality. Still need the Wedge brackets to complete the install, but I'm freshly motivated!

Those seats are Beautiful!   Are they real deal Recaros?

I haven’t seen anything that says otherwise. 100% positive rating on ebay seems to support that as well. They’ve sold enough seats that someone would have busted them by now if they were fake. When you look at what mediocre aftermarket seats can cost, these are worth it even if they’re phony.

do they come with the necessary frame rails? If not where can we get them? thx!

Their seats don’t come with brackets/sliders, but you can shop google or ebay for sources. Wedge is a common brand: http://wedgebrackets.com/nissan-240-z-69-74-seat-brackets.html

Did you get this installed yet?  Pics if so.  I just ordered a pair from there mck as well. 

I haven’t installed mine yet. To keep them out of harm’s way, there are other interior projects to get done before they go in. But it’s hard to resist the temptation. Ed Word Curl on facebook has posted pix of his to Z groups, so here’s one to keep you inspired!

I love the way those seats look!

They feel pretty good, too. I’ve spent some time in them just to be sure, and the support and contour are very promising compared to my tired old stock seats.

Love my seats from them. Now I need the interior to match it ??
