Aproximate length of a Z on a rotisserie?

Featured Replies

I can't find any information about how much additional length a rotisserie (of any brand) adds to the length of the car. I have a fairly short garage with a workbench on one end, so I need it to be less than 22' to work, and that's with no room to walk around it.

Does anyone have one mounted up that they could measure for me?

My homemade rotisserie is about 15' long, with about 16" at the rear of the car and 12" at the front. I wouldn't think most wouldn't be a ton longer than this 16-17' max

The photographs make them look crazy long. I haven't decided if I'm going to buy or make one yet, but this length issue will probably determine that

I'll run a tape measure down mine when I'm out there next!

24' garage and lots of room to walk around the car...

14'6" from end to end of the rotisserie with lots of room in the garage!
