Chet Wittel was talking about this video today. The car making the pass in the grass was piloted by John Williams. Chet said John's crew told him it was the last lap before it was the last lap.

Very cool video......I had the pleasure to do track days at Road Atlanta when I lived there in the 70's in my 240Z with the Atlanta Corvette Club. We would work the turns for those guys, then they'd let us do some laps. If I remember, the back straight wasn't too straight.

Very cool clip Steve! I've been out there in my Audi S4 in HPDE events with point by passing. Can't imagine being out there with John and driving like that!
