Featured Replies

I have this distributor in my 240z. It not the original but were does it come from, 280z or 280zx? It has no numbers/letters on the black box.post-22076-0-69412500-1415974596_thumb.jpost-22076-0-84917500-1415974661_thumb.j

With only 2 terminals on the black box, I'd guess ZX E12-80 too.  Should have one of these numbers stamped on the side somewhere.

Ok it looks like the one on my spare l28 but that one got the numbers E-12 something on it. This one in my 240z doesnt. I thought all modules had numbers on them?

I bought a Cardone remanufactured distributor from amazon.com that didn't have any numbers on the moduale.  The only ones I've seen are '79 to '81 which is the E12-80 that has only one 2 spade connection on the top.  The '82 & '83 has the E12-93 which has the top connection as well as another one on the side.  The 2nd connection was for some sensors or something, not sure.
