So that's how you're getting those huge pictures up! I wondered how you did it on the timing chain install thread.

post-1812-14150827231152_thumb.jpg These are a test, I took these while at Nissan Headquarters in Tokyo. I had used a friends new Minolta 35mm camera, they weren't too clear.

Thanks Blue, I appreciate the help. Tried to post a pic of my first Z but somehow it went on the computer as a document, wouldn't load up.

post-1812-14150827232544_thumb.jpg After being discharged from the U.S. Air Force in Feb. 72, I purchased a new 240Z from Stang Motors, Elyria, Ohio. Showed Mr. Terry Tracey all my literature from Nissan and gave him $100 down, a week later a chose this. They also had 2 other new Z's.

Fred, those zg pics are great! Not many around from that time. It also helps us planning zg flares as you show the exact mounting locations used by Nissan.

Also those lighter steering wheels are confusing me? I see them on some cars starting in 69, were they an option or standard on certain models?

BIG THANKS.... if you have more photos please share as they hold lots of great info.....nice white Z too!

Blue.... I also have a reprint of the 69 - 70 Fairlady brochure. It has the same lighter steering wheel.

Blue... the Z I bought new in 6/72, the 3/72 that I now own, plus the 10/69 Fairlady all have the same steering wheels, except the Fairlady having no slots. However if I remember. the 5 speed gearshift knob is darker.
