Yes it will catch 3rd! With SU's it was 155RWHP

-with Triples ?

That's great. Since these cars are so light adding just a little power goes a long way. Gearing helps too.

Nice! Wish I could do some performance upgrades to my 77 280. What steering wheel is that and what gauge is that in place of the clock?

Here's an interesting comparison. This video is older and with SU carbs and I believe a 3.54 diff.

I think it's easy to tell which video the car is running the lower gears. Also notice how nicely you can ' blip' the throttles on the Mikunis . Advantage of having carbs with accelerator pumps.

Restricted by CA law is exactly it Steve. I used to run SU's when I lived in Vegas for a short period of time and I loved them and the adjust-ability I had using them. Here you can't even polish anything under the hood without the smog police running square up your a$$!
