"240Z" Roadster?

Featured Replies

Here is an interesting find I saw on Ebay. A 1961 MGA with a 240Z motor. Beautiful car with a reliable engine that needs to be completed. Check it out!

I know. I think this is the first time I have ever seen anyone use a Z motor in another car. Usually they are putting other motors in the Z. Not a bad idea though for a great little British roadster.

I sure wouldn't want to have to change the air filters (if it had them!).

It appears that you'd have to remove the fender to do this.ROFL

Not sure, but I think the trans has to come out through interior tunnel on these early MG's as well. Notice the missing trans tunnel in the foot pedal pic?

If he re-wired it to get rid of the electrical problems that were the downfall of these cars, I'd say this would make a real cool cruiser...

2manyZs,

When I had my 62 MG Midget we called Lucas the Prince of Darkness!
