My Neighbor's 240Z - Almost Done!

Featured Replies

Absolutely beautiful! Great work Julio! Are the seats covered in leather? They look buttery smooth and comfy.

Not leather, but high quality vinyl. Seats were done by a shop her significant other found somewhere in the gold country, (where he lives).

It was less expensive than having the re-done in the SF Bay area and they came out great!

Green paint looks really good on them, especially with that brown interior, nice z !

The interior is in awesome shape, Julio! Are the plastic panels and diamond-pattern vinyl new?

Plastic panels are all new, but I had to dye them, using dye from Classic Datsun. Original diamond vinyl in the rear was faded but still supple, so I dyed that as well. Same for the door panels.

The trans tunnel vinyl was cooked and deformed in a couple spots and had to be replaced. At the time non-black diamond tunnel covers were NLA, (of course, now they are available...), so that's new, non-diamond vinyl. But her original clock works!

Thanks Julio. Great work!
