Is the connection between the brake booster and master cylinder supposed to be gasketed? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question. Thanks.

Mine doesnt have any gasket between the MC and booster. I can not find one in the E-Fast database. The booster has a rubber seal that is held in place by a thin metal star washer. Its part of the booster assembly.

The push rod has the seal however a coating of sealant on the master does not hurt.
