At one time, we allowed custom titles. The system doesn't seem to 'reset' all the titles to the appropriate setting when I choose that option. For instance, I can turn off custom titles and choose to reset all of them. Either I don't know how to make it work, or, it's a bug in the software.

Anyway, I don't remember why we turned off custom titles. I think it was because some users were abusing it.

Bonnie has a point, if someone is offended, all they have to do is send me a message and I'll take care of it.

So, you can have the customizable titles back again.

I also set it up so that new users can't change titles. You must have the following conditions before you can modify your title. They are:

1) Have at least 20 posts

2) Been a member more than 30 days
