'84 300Z question...

Featured Replies

Will the wheels from the '84 300 fit onto a '73 / '74 Z? I am concerned about the offset?

Also, while I'm in the subject what else is useful off of that car?

Thanks,

Bri

I think if you count the lugs you'll see that they won't fit....:ermm:

The brakes can be converted with some work and special brackets, but as far as suspension, especially the rear, they are quite different.

Course, the VG will fit, but with not much gain since the 84 is only about 160hp......

as long as its the four bolt pattern. though i dont know why you would want them i think they look god awful:sick:

I agree, I was wondering if anyone else had interest, I guess I'll pass up the car, it has a blown head gasket and who knows what else...

Thanks all,

Bri

Oops, I goofed. I thought they had gone to 5 lug in 84 but the only ones that got 5 lug wheels were the turbos. They didn't go to all 5 lug until 86.....:stupid:

Actually, I believe the correct transition would be 4-lug through the 85 model year for N/A. Turbo Z31 was 5-lug all years.

And that's EXACTLY what you said! Sorry 2many, I missed "ones that got 5 lug wheels were the turbos. " on the end of that sentence.
