Thanks Northernz. I was a coachbuilding apprentice back in the 60s ,amd one of the guys I worked under was a Lanc.pilot. I wish I had listened to his stories, but I was a 17 year old and more into girls.;)

Hey Olzed, very few if any of those guys left, so many interesting stories untold. From the other side my best friends' Dad from grade seven was a Luftwaffe fighter ace on the Eastern front, but he would never talk about the war. I would love to see that mosquito fly, must sound incredible, even better than an L 24 at High revs!

One of the ex club guys is a partner in plane restoration shop down here, and the club was fortunate to get a gold class tour of his shop last Saturday. Also got a look at another hangar where the Mossie is. TV news visited the shop, and one engine was started for them. One sounds nice, and I'm really looking forward to seeing them both running.

We are going to the Mossie demo this coming Saturday.

I'm sure there will be clips on youtube after that.

Click the link. Brian.
