my 72 has an early 71 brake booster

My 1972 built on FEB has a 71 brake booster, after a long search to secure a booster and damaging an used Ebay'' special'' one:stupid:, I located a rebuilt unit but it turn to be a wrong size , the one that came out after breaking my back and it was a pain in the a$$ to remove is a 71 part:mad:, I did my search and felt confident in doing the job myself:cool:, also felt that I had order the proper one:finger: , but I guess this is what this hobby is all about:cry:........... it all good and OK the correct part will be here tomorrow, the vendor took the part back and after several calls located the 71 unit ;)

I believe the PO has some on you tube under David's aka quik240Z '' Silver Bullet '',I will do a pictorial soon and will show all that was done and how well she has been preserved, she was built to high standards, a Z MASTERPIECE, a fine feline.I have gotten a tons of complements :cool: I intend to keep her in it's pristine condition, the brake booster had a light hiss and the pedal felt a tad hard, so I opted to remedy it as preventive maintenance :love:She was in hibernation for almost two years, so little love has been demanded by her ;)

The b/booster is in the Z, took some minor mods to the pin connector on the pedal to make it fit properly, glad my DATSUN guru had the tools :cool:
