Finally!

Featured Replies

A while back my Z went back to the painter for a warranty redo. Well today, I finally got her back - just in time for a fine weekend of tinkering! I will be updating my album as I get her detailed back into fine shape! Here are some pics in the meantime...

That is beautiful ZCurves! Love the color, makes the wheels and bumpers pop very nicely. Congrats on a job well done!

Thank you for the compliments. What happened was that I noticed specks of 'Trash' beginning to emerge in the finish - even though the paint was laid down wet and slick. The painter quickly said that it was unacceptable and asked to have the car back. After sanding it down they claimed that the metal was not prepped properly. The second time around they scrubbed it real well with an acid wash and sealer - It all was done with PPG products. I have to thank the paint shop they are stand up group of people.

What is the name of this body shop? Anyone who stands behind their work like that should get their name mentioned. Nice front spoiler. Looks good with the

78 bumper. I especially like the air ducts or are they for extra lights?

Thanks a bunch. The spoiler is a Xenon and the ports are for extra air. The body shop is Deerbrook Collision in Humble, Texas. Unfortunately they are selling the biz to another party, so I cannot vouch for the incoming owners work or ethics.

That looks marvelous.

I was looking for a body shop to give my exterior a nice respray this year.

Zedyone, I believe that Ben (BensZ) has found a shop that does some real fine work too. Unfortunately Deerbrook is selling to new owners. :(
