Car register[s]?

Featured Replies

Could this be a good time for the club to consider starting a register of classic Zcars?

This would not only be confined to cars currently registered, but should include cars that had been sighted in various stages of breakup.

Maybe we might be able to find out how many Z's are left drivable, WIP or else for prosperity?

What do others think?

www.zhome.com already has this. Carl Beck has put a lot of time and energy into building a great informative site regarding the Z life. http://www.zhome.com/IZCC/ZRegisters/

Dwight,

Carl has put a lot of effort into building the 240LHD register.

Unfortunatley no information exists for all zeds [240~280, LH & RH]. There are amny gaps and action should be taken before it's to late.

Many are being broken up etc, wouldn't it be nice to have information on the whereabouts of all classics zeds?

Even those that are no longer.

Mike

Shoulda woulda coulda looked at your location and I woulda realized that you were interested in RH cars. I got 2 of them off ebay a few months ago, pretty damn cheap. But since they are too small for VIN #'s I'll just leave them on my desk at work for now.

I know there is already a classic Z car register at Zhome but, they don't cover all of the cars. I'm surprised they don't at least have a section for 260Zs'.

Yea, this is a good idea. But, I don't want to re-invent the wheel. Carl has done a lot of work on this, so, I'll approch him to see if it can be updated.
