Nah Definatly not wasting time! Focusing on getting the body and engine done so it can be put back together and seeing as the little things are so hard to find I will put them on as I find them

correct, because they are not fitted with extractors from factory, only 1 of my 4 had extractors...

A question also.. What's with my tail light garnish? The 240s ive seen have the small Datsun strip with room for the 240k badge next to it.

Mine has a long strip as you can see. What's with that?

I imagine it was an attempt by the previous owner to cover the holes of the missing expensive badges. Most wouldn't know any better.

It's got a long slot in the garnish and it says Datsun on that strip. Can't see what it would be off. And can't see holes as if the 240 badge used to be there. Weird hey. One of a kind haha
