Refreshing My Neighbor's 240Z - Bodywork

Featured Replies

As posted before, I'm doing a refresh on my next door neighbor's 1972 240Z. It's in the body shop now and work is progressing nicely.

Had a bit of rust and more bondo from previous repairs that we expected. It's going to be british racing green, (as it was painted before).

Work is being done by William's auto body. He drives a very nice, red, resto modded 240Z. In his shop there were 5-S30's, a Datsun roadster, a S32 and a 69 Camaro.

It should be done by the end of the year. Pics taken today attached.

Yep. Repainting the hub caps is on my to-do list. I tried to get her to paint it back to the original metallic-lime green, but she want's it BRG, like it has been for the last 20 years. Still, should be very pretty when it's done. Kinda cool having 240Z's next door to one another.

very nice pics! keep us updated on the bodywork progress. seems like i should drop by that shop just to talk with the owner about his cars haha

Sounds like you are making progress buddy, looks like a great shop. Yeah wish my neighbour had a 240Z then I could get him to help out ;)
