Hi all...After a year of searching.

And this is what i came up with

She needs a lot of work, my plan is to do a complete refresh over a long haul. Picked her up for $1250 locally, she runs and drive, no rust nor any obvious repair. Had her on a lift and her belly is clean and dry, what worried me is the right rear quarter panel and the impossible to find fuel tank.

Just wanted to say hi to all....now if i may be excuse to go brouse your guys awesome data base.

Looks like a good deal. I know it would be a hell of a deal around these parts.

I hope the damage to the rear is not severe underneath. Hopefully you can find a good body man to work it out

Fixing the rear quarter panel and replacing the fuel tank will be much cheaper than repairing a pile of rust. Looks like a good start.

It appears to be a late '71 in 905 red, so it started life very similar to my car.

Is it really 905 red? It looks like it could almost be 918 orange, although it really looks to be somewhere in between to my eye.

Probably just wishful thinking on my part.

Yes, it is a 905 red and production date is 6/71. The previous owner got rear ended and decided to slap a salvage title on her and collect the cash. I really don't care about the title since she will never becomes a show car.

If you guys know of a Zed specialist and a good body shop in the 90505 area, please let me know.

....and the impossible to find fuel tank.

I have a couple of used gas tanks. If you need one let me know.

Thanks, i'll keep it in mind as i will try to look for it locally first. I can imagine shipping cost for such a bulky item will be pricey.
