You were right, a Franken Engine is an engine assembled of parts from different engine types/makes.

Al Franken is a comedian-turned-politician here in the states. One of our more controversial political figures.

Comedians never make good politicians. How can you take anything they say seriously?
Or you could build a franken engine, with the diesel block, a gasoline head, a L20B front cover ect.

Normal asking price is 400$, is it worth it.
