download movies?

Featured Replies

i have a nissan ad (movie) that i want to download on this site. is it possible and how do i resize it if need be?

What you want to do is "upload" the movie. In order to resize it you need to bring it into a special program. Windows Movie Maker works well and is included in most versions of Windows. Alternatively, you can sign up for a free Vimeo.com or Youtube.com account and upload it there. If it's under their size limitations, they will take it and convert it automatically.

just got a new computer last week with windows 7. i'll see if i have movie maker and try to figure it out. the video size is 4030K, any idea what size i should shrink it to for our wed site? thanx

I don't think the Micro$oft has released a version of Movie Maker for Windows 7 yet. There is Windows Live Movie Maker which they say is comatible with Windows 7 but I've been told that it's very basic and less capable than previous versions when it comes to any kind of advanced editing. I've not tried it yet.

4030K is only 4Mb right? That's an easy upload. Anyone can handle that size. Vimeo has a 500Mb limit, for example.

You can upload it to youtube and then post a link to save server space and bandwidth if it's an issue...

it's a canadian nissan tv ad. probably not seen in the us. i'll try the utube route. didn't want to sign up and register to it but i think it will be the best way.

It wouldn't be the Nissan 'morning light' ad, would it? Someone sent that to me the other day. Cool ad!
