Race Compound Pads for Rear 280ZX Discs

Featured Replies

Anyone know of good race compound pads for the rear discs on a 280ZX? Someone just asked me and I have no idea so I'm turning the to the most knowledgable group of Z peeps I know (errr...virtually know I guess...ya know virtual world, cyber space, etc...ok enough with the failed attempt at humor).

I like Porterfield products, but there are many others. Porterfield R4 would work fine. They are easy on rotors and work well. What type of racing though? For auto-x and open track events, the R4-S is good and for endurance racing, the R4-E works well.

Have him call Livermore Performance. They can recommend a brand and compound for his needs. http://www.lpiracing.com/livper/brake_home.html

Thank you, I passed on the information to the guy who asked me. He said to thank you also. :)
