Hi guys I'm looking for a set of orginal steel wheels for a 1973 240z. Looking for a set in great condition. I know someone out there has a set sitting around. Please let me know. Thanks in advance for any help

I don't know if this is what you're looking for Manny, but I'll have some rims from a '73 for sale shortly....as soon as I get my car out of the bodyshop and get the new wheels put on (which should be early next week). These rims do have some wear and tear but decent condition. Sorry I don't have a close-ups of them but here is a pic of the car with these rims:

I have a set that I think is in good shape. I haven't really looked them over well yet though. I will do that and get some pics for you when I go home on Tuesday.

These are dated 9/75, but are the same size as those from 1973. 5Jx14. I bought them a few years back from the original owner, who after buying his new 280Z immediately dismounted the steelies for some aftermarket wheels. $100 plus shipping, if interested.

I don't need them because I ran across a date-correct set for my 1972.

I'll be visiting a seller next weekend who says he has a few sets of wheels. He told me they were "early" 240. I am looking for 01/70 for a date stamp. If I see 73 I will post back.

Slotted mags are not original. Despite what many uninformed people say (calling them the "original wheels"), no Z ever came from the factory with slotted mags. All slots were aftermarket. Many were dealer installed, but that doesn't make them "original".

I've got a set of 5 original steel wheels that came on my 6/72 240Z that I want to sell. They have tires with decent tread on them and are not bent. I'd sell the set of five for $75 + shipping if anyone wants them. If you don't want the tires, I'll dismount them if you pay for it. I'm in Oregon. A PM is the best way to get a hold of me.
