Source for Wire Clamps

Featured Replies

Is there a good source to get all those different wire clamps for your Z? I keep de-rusting mine so they shine some, but they get rusty after it rains a few times. I was thinking anout zinc plating them.

I would like to know as well, most of the ones i am taking off are disintegrating, would really like to get the ones for the carb hoses, those are tiny

I wouldn't mind betting that you can get them from Nissan.

My Skyline had wire type clamps on the water hoses from factory so I reckon Nissan still fit them to some new models.

Have a look under the hood of a current model and see if they have the size you are seeking :classic:

Then of course there is always your local Boneyard.

The carb. clamps are available from some of the Roadster vendors like here

if you are referring to looking at a 350Z they used those spring loaded type clamps you have to squeeze to loosen and get off

thanks for carb clamp link

I dont know if this helps or not, but my brother used to have an old MGA. It used very similar looking wire hose clamps. Not the worm kind. Through Victoria British, you can order wire radiator hose and other hose clamps that are the wire kind. I have no idea what sizes they are and if they would work but that is the closest I have ever found. One of these days, I plan on buying one of each and seeing if they will work or not. Good luck.

I was asking about wire clamps for a 280Z.

Hey Tomohawk,

I am not too familiar with 280 clamps, but I am still ordering 240 wire clamps in quite a few sizes and applications for my early 240z at my local Nissan parts counter.

hope this helps.
