Except for us poor bastards who only have the hopes to get one Z in our lives let alone being able to afford any parts for them. I keep hoping to really sink some dough into my Z after the kids are grown, but if everybody wants to pay more than what these cars are worth just to drive up the value, hell I've got a worn out 76 280 that looks great at ten feet for ten grand. I am on the other side of the fence for the time being. I didn't get involed in the Z world as an investment - I like the fact that it is a great little fun car accessable to pretty well anyone who wants one.

This is still the poor man's Vette - I'ld like to have another one (or two).

The only downside I can see to prices going high is that parts prices may then go high as well. And we all continue to need parts for our Z's :classic:

The whole mileage thing baffles me on the Z cars, especially in our case, which is a '71 240Z and the odometer doesn't have enough places to show the actual miles after it reaches 99.999 so curious how you can trust people's odometer claims. In our case, it shows current miles at 90,351, and many of our Z Doctor receipts and others started showing these miles as well a few years back, but my brother knows it went over the mark and is actually 190,351.
