Only 240's ?????????????

Featured Replies

All you blokes appear to own 240's !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doesn't anyone have a 260 ???????????????????

I've got both even better. But as you would know there's nothing like the first model 240. long live the Zed.........

I have a 240 with a 260 engine in it. :) BTW--I'd rather have a 260 steering wheel. Anyone know where to get one?

Chris

A Z is a Z. Most of us tolerate and even admire some ZX's but they're not Z 's......

It's kind of like comparing a '58 Chevy to a '57... sure the '58 is a nice car but it is no '57..

Dogs may love trucks but Marty loves his 240Z...

As IONMAN said, "A Z IS A Z"

I'm glad to see that there are other 260's out there. What with all the talk and pic's of 240's I was beginning to feel awfully lonely.

A Z is a Z. But my 240 has a ZX engine, tranny, and rear end. Does that make it a ZY?

I think that the 260Z is the most collectable Z simply because of it's rarity. (in the US)

I have a 280 and I like the 280's more than 240's (ducks as members boo and throw food at the stage) :D

Zed says, "I think that the 260Z is the most collectable Z simply because of it's rarity.

Well, all I have to say is that Ford Pinto's are becoming rare these days, doesn't exactly make them collectable. LOL

Seriously, only one year of U.S. distribution makes for a serious lack of devotion from consumers. Here today gone tomorrow. True collectability only comes from the desire of those willing to part with the cash for the item not solely from the limited nature of the item.

my $.02 but enjoy your 260 to the max!

Nothing wrong with the 260z or 280z, both are great cars and very little difference (visually), it's just that the 240z is older, faster, and generally more in demand. As for zx, I personaly think nissan/datsun only got it right with the 89+300zx's, but still the zx's are better than anything else that is not a z.
