hello everyone, I'm planning on having the Z ready to roll to daytona by october, (in the body shop now) and was wondering if anyone else was driving down from the eastern Virginia area. I live in Smithfield which is a small town in tidewater (newport news, hampton, VA beach area). Anyway thought it would be cool to ride down with some other Z's. I went to the Tidewater Z car club's website but didn't see anything about it, maybe I just missed it. Anyway thanks and see ya there.

I heard some talk about a bunch of people coming down on the AMTRACK AutoTrain but I don't know much more about it. I would suggest contacting some of the Tidewater club guys to see what their plans are. I sent this link to Fred but I think he is out of the country at the moment. Perhaps he will respond.

thanks for the info, i was hoping some of the tidewater Z guys would be on here. I think it would be fun and besides it wouldn't hurt to have some help if god forbid something were to happen.

I'd thought of going too. The Amtrak deal would be ideal and a little like the Orient Express (very little...hahaha). Anyhow, this event conflicts with my annual Land Rover Rally so I'll not be able to make it.
