Hey y'all,

Glad I found this place. I just bought a 1976 280z. It's going to new a little TLC but I think I'll keep her. She runs good... started right up after a new battery and cable. I'll post pictures soon.

Welcome! Congratulations on the find! Can't wait to see the pictures!

Welcome to the site! I used to have a '76, wish I never would have sold her. Anyway, looking forward to the pics.

And no, the car isn't white...that's an awesome primer grey with some rust popping out!

Not to bad. Do you have plans to restore it or just drive it? Either way you will have fun with it.

Nah, she don't look too bad at all. Just needs some paint (as does mine...)

Well, for a little while I will have to drive it. But, I do plan to restore it with maybe a few upgrades. The body and paint will have to be first. They are the most lacking.

Good Luck with it.Its a never ending quest there is always something else to do to it so have fun in the process. This site is a dream come true for those of us that dont have the knowledge. I joined the site in 2005 knowing only general things about Z cars and now my knowledge has increased 10 fold if not more. I love Z cars of all kinds and owning one is all the sweeter.:classic:

welcome! and ditto what everyone else said! except i never owned or sold a '76, sooo...... :D

DK still tours (without Jello, since the nasty legal woes) with Jeff Penalty as lead vocals. good guy, met him at the concert they had last year.

Jello still tours doing spoken word and has made a couple albums...

Welcome to the site and congrats on the Z . Be aware that primer is porous and will allow moisture to penetrate to the metal . So if the primer is over paint that will be a moisture barrier , however if the paint was sanded off or removed , you want to address this as soon as you can. The same for Bondo . All the best to you and enjoy your new ride. Gary:rambo:
