Suspension advice

Great thread, but I wonder about the combination of Polyurethane or rubber and various springs and shocks. What is the best combination? Are you all using polyurethane? I hear so many conflicting comments about how hard they make the car ride. I want a nice riding cruiser that won't wallow around. Any suggestion on bushing material, along with what has already been commented on?

How does the ride for these custom springs compare to the Tokico HP set- I bout a set, with the shocks and don't really like them, way too stiff for general use. I was thinking about putting the stock back in, but this sounds like a compromise?

thanks

IMHO, TIFWIW, ...

The difference in spring rate between stock and Euro springs is insignificant when thinking about ride. Shock compression damping, tire sidewall height, tire construction, and tire air pressure all have much greater affects on ride then spring rate. Springs add "firmness" to ride while the items I listed above add "stiffness" and "harshness."
