Early 240Z round top carbies and manifold. (sounds like he has the original air box/filter too).

Maybe they came in different types or maybe I just haven't noticed, but what's that flying-saucer thing on the top of the manifold?

Thats for the EGR (emission) The 260 has them.

Yes they look more like British SU's to me.

They look like 3 screw 240z round tops bolted to a 260z manifold or maybe the car had air con, and thats the thing that increased the idle speed when the ac was on.

No... that is the EGR valve. The idle speed a/c valve was mounted at an angle with a hook like attachment to the throttle mechanism.

The manifold is most definately off a RS-30 or derivitives, which leads to speculation about the SU's. A bit of a bitza I would say.....

My brother tryed to sell the exact same thing everything except for the filters and didn't happen.
