New racecar test

Featured Replies

Howdy,

My first post on this fine site.

A couple of pics of my nearly complete rebuild of a formerly bashed and thrashed ITS car that was campaigned originally down in the southwestern US.

I had the car out for it's first shakedown test this past weekend, and the new car gremlins were on hand as the clutch master failed, ending my day early.

This car will be raced in vintage events in the upper midwest area.

The cars specs are pretty basic, as it's prepared to '71 C production rules. L24 with Weber 40 DCOE's, 4 speed, locked 3:90, drum brakes on the rear, coilovers, etc.

This is a great site, hope to see some of you at the races...

Welcome aboard Mike! We're always glad to see others, inflicted with the Z sickness, joining our group. By the way, I like your Z.....looks like some serious fun to me! Lots of good and knowledgible people here.

Welcome to Classic Z cars. There are several of us out campaigning several datsuns and would be more than happy to share experiences we have had. Feel free to contact any of us....

We would like to help!

As Mr. K would say Drive Fast!

Wow Looks great!

I see there is hope for my new little ITS car that needs attention too.

Sweet Looking car! Hopefully we can get you out to the West Coast once you get all sorted out- :bandit:
