She Is In Great Condition, However I Plan On Restoring Her To Factory One Day. And I Would Love Any Kind Of Feedback And Suggestions Any Of You Proud Parents Have For Us.

For My First Question, Was The Interior On The Sides Of The Consule A Diamond Pattern??

On the later series 240z it was. But im not sure on a 70, never seen one.

The quilted vinyl was used in the early cars, yes. You should find it on the transmission tunnel, the rear shock towers and the rear wheel arches. I'm not sure when they stopped using the quilted vinyl, but your '70 should definitely have it.

Nice to hear of the new toy. You'll get planty of info here. Arne is right. Your car originally had the diamond pattern on the tunnel. Can get replacement material from many sources if you want it and don't have it.

This picture of mine is very bad, shows my car as it was when I bought it (pretty ratty), but you can clearly see the pattern on the tunnel.

Welcome, Misty Lee. Yes, please post some pics of Felizity! I think all the 240's had the vinyl with the quilted diamond pattern. The 260's and 280's had carpet.
