Hi Everyone,

I'm missing the Z logo plaque on my 73 240z's center console. I think its used for mounting the choke handle bracket onto. I have tried everywhere to locate one but have not been able to. Any one else know of a source for this piece?

Saro-it is a cover for a switch location that is not used in the USA-currently there are two if them on ebay

I was fortunate to have purchased the car from the non-smoking original owner. Also, the car has 41,558 original miles on the odometer, which helps too.

I bought 4 NOS late '71-'73 consoles to put up for posterity-they came with the emblem in question. I also bought a single emblem as a spare.

Hi Ed, it appears you have some kind of switches in the emblem just ahead of the ashtray. Is that the case? Can you elaborate for me? I have a 73 and its completely flat there like the other pictures in this thread.

Yes, there are switches there. I have modified my plate for these switches which control the power windows.
