No. No body panel from a ZX will fit a Z.

You cutting them straight through the middle? The whole door, or just the skin?

whole door! about 1/4 way along the door from the front. bit ambitious I know but I will post some pics of the finished product if anyone is interested. because I dont run windup windows the inner isnt that critical as long as the skin can be joined well enough.

just to let everyone know the 2+2 to 2 seater door conversion dosent work! the angle on the rear of the door is a few degrees different. O w well it was worth a shot as I only stuffed a crappy 2+2 door.

I don't think so, I believe the door lock is different and can't be switched.

Hey guys, my first "official" post. At HybridZ they're always harping on the newbees for not searching, and I'm assuming this has been covered here before. Anyways, the US market 77-78 doors have a completely redesigned latch assembly and are not interchangable with the earlier ones. But technically a 240 door will fit a 280, as long as it's a '75-76. I have a '76 door on my '73 now. The door beam in the later makes it way heavier, but I gutted out the entire door anyways and cut it out (road racer).
