February 9, 200520 yr comment_112102 Gawd, you must be feeling lucky today! If I'm correct, the pair of cars you are talking about belong to a fellow named Tod Kaneko. And by the way they are not red but orange. I believe both car have the same style wheels. I think they are made by R/H. BBS, Volke, Fiske, and others make similar wheels. February 10, 200520 yr comment_112147 not that i am aware of , but I could be wrong, I checked out the prices on the Chevelon wheels and they were very expensive, 700 ish a wheel Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/14942-ok-i-need-help-on-some-wheel-id/#findComment-112147 Share on other sites
February 10, 200520 yr Author comment_112148 OUCH!!!!Well, I may have to settle for the Racing Hart, they look the same???They are around 280ish or so....my 3 cents. Ah hell, make it my $280.Bri Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/14942-ok-i-need-help-on-some-wheel-id/#findComment-112148 Share on other sites
February 10, 200520 yr comment_112149 they make a simliar racing hart but the issue is finding the correct offset with the bolt pattern , the Chevelon are true one offs , when I looked into them I was told they were milled to your bolt pattern and made to your size so far as offset, that and the fact they are a true 3 piece wheel makes then expensive, I wasn't as excited with the Racing Harts as I was with others , to me personally there was a diffrence Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/14942-ok-i-need-help-on-some-wheel-id/#findComment-112149 Share on other sites
February 10, 200520 yr Author comment_112151 Good point, and the offset is an issue. These are going on my '72 510, and since it is the oh-so-trendy 4 door, I need to watch the flare issue...But damn, I love those wheels...Brian Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/14942-ok-i-need-help-on-some-wheel-id/#findComment-112151 Share on other sites
February 10, 200520 yr comment_112153 they are nice, but there are others out there that are around the 300 range that are very nice too like works wheels , they make very nice old school and modern style wheels in custom offsets and bolt patterns at very reasonable rates Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/14942-ok-i-need-help-on-some-wheel-id/#findComment-112153 Share on other sites
