Mine is a reprint I bought from Andy Russel(I think) about a year or two ago.

Cover says:

"SERVICE MANUAL

DATSUN 240Z SPORTS

MODEL S30 SERIES

ENGINE

CHASSIS AND BODY"

This is on the back:

"Issued Date: March, 1997 (010350)

Printed in U.S.A. Publication No. SM2E-L20AU0"

In the front page it says:

"© NISSAN MOTOR CO., LTD. Printed in Japan"

From the foreward in the front, I'm pretty sure this was just an 'after the fact' combination print of the separate engine and chassis manuals printed in one. The foreward makes no mention of the chassis segment, and describes the text as a manual for engine maintenance(engine being the first section of the book).

I couldn't find any dates on the FSM for 1971 but on my 1972 FSM © is 1972 and it says "Printed in Japan".

I have one like center pic that 26th posted. No dates that I can find

only P/N 99999-20016 on the cover
