Well, I suppose it already has a V6. From the ad:

"The block is from a 300Z"

Why? It was rebuilt 10+ years ago, still has zero miles on it, and doesn't run. Big gamble IMO as to whether it will ever run, and owner doesn't even value it enough to place a reserve on the auction.

If I had a 300 engine in a car listed for sale I'd have that picture posted.

In the picture there is a six. Looks like the original.

The auction has now been altered to indicate (via a question asked by a potential bidder) that the car has a 2.8L L6. No idication as to whether it was from a 280Z or ZX

I would not knock the car that bad. Be a great daily driver turbo conversion. The car is not 1,000. More like $500. $500 for the car, another 500 for a running turbo. Should make a good daily driver.

I would kick the price down to $500. A non running 240Z is not going to fetch much.

No reason to knock the price down to $500, since he's already got a $1000.00 bid
