Talking performance here, not looks!

Sorry, can't tell a thing about performance from Alfadog's picture.

It's somewhat reminiscent of the U.S. Chevy Nova, Olds Omega, Buick Apollo, etc. of the same era. That's probably not by coincedence since Holdens are G.M. But remember, performacne not looks!

You are the second person to say this, however nobody posts any performance data. All we get is pictures, so that is all we can comment on.

Come on someone post some performance info! Then we can talk about it!

Yeah, the cars I mentioned were slugs except for the performance versions of the Nova. I, too, would like to see some numbers on this Holden.

I have a 71 chevy nova. Factory 307 3 speed. It will light em up no problem. A bet hairy on the twistys tho:tapemouth

Not too sure about the math on that one.

Looking at the 70-72 XU1, the output was 119kw. Using 1kw = 1.34HP we end up with 159HP.

So 159HP lugging around a aerodymanic brick weighing in at 1100KG.......might have been a bit of fun in a straight line but it would be interesting to see one against a Zed around a track.

Anyone raced a Toe-runner???????
