How to tell the chassis are bent?
Looking at a car with some front end damage: lhs headlight cracked and guard damaged, bumper cracked, bonnet slightly bent, rhs front guard slightly misalligned (noticable only when someone tells you where to look). Cant really see the rails under next to the engine - too much stuff on top, car appears straight form fornt and back, pillars and rood ok. So was wondering if its possible to check if the chassis was bent? Was thinking of trying driving a car and just looking at how it behaves but I assume that the wheels were not alligned after crash so it will be hard to tell what behaviour is due to chassis damage and which is due to un-alligned wheels... any suggestions? PS the car is not a 240Z but actually nissan silvia s13. Thank you in advance.

black mesh rims
Just getany any color mesh rims and powdercoat them black or spray them yourself if you are on a tight budget. It is really easy to spray them and I did that to the ones on my car and they turned out to be great.

Are the shocks interchangable between the 240Z and 260Z
I am talking about the cartridge inserts. As far as I know the rear struts diameter has been changed for the 260z compared to 240z, but could someone advise me the part numbers? Also does anyone know if the front ones changed? And yes I am in Australia.

E31 vs E88 vs N42

E31 vs E88 vs N42
Well I have narrowed down my possible choices of the head to this three for various reasons. Could anyone give me a clear answer as to which one flows best stock and which one is easy to improve (= minimum financial investments:) )? My engine is to stay NA and FI. I am aiming to have compression of low/mid 10s (btw can I use 100 octane fuel - the highest octane fuel available from pumps here in Australia as far as I know?). Also I am using an L28 block with flat top pistons and read somewhere that an E series heads will give me the required compression without any modifications - can anyone confirm this?

Which head is best..
So what do people think of the E30 head? I also read somewhere that since it has smaller chambers it will give me a higher compression, is it true?
