  1. Sh*t!!! you don't know what your talking aboutLOL j/k. I've gone well over 100mph in my z and It never left ground! Plus now it has the front air damn and rear spoiler. I think I should be able to keep up with him! He will beat me off the line bc i won't be able to hook up but at a 60mph start i'm with him all the way to 200mph my friend!!! Oh and trust me a 1100hp TT 350 sbc is enough motor to get it there!!! I wish who ever did that little calculation for me last time with 400 hp could do it again for me figureing in all of the variables but this time with 1100 ponies to see the thearetical top speed.

  13. The body work on my car is almost done guys!! i'm so excited! The rear fenders and innerfenders are in, new rockers and floors are in. The fenders are being bead blasted along with hood, all the blinkers and gas lid is filled in, and rear bumper gone and smoothed it looks great!! he is just working on putting in the new front frame rails and then the "precious" can come home!!! Also today I put up my Dual webers on Ebay for sale http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dual-weber-DGV-carbs-off-of-datsun-240z-260z-280z_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33550QQitemZ8044803205QQrdZ1, and in the next week or two I plan on putting up my dual SU's and air cleaner for sale also!! things are coming to really fast. can't wait to get you guys some pics!

  16. I too have a question, I am only going to need carpet for the front floor pans and right behind my seat, not the deck area. I have not been able to find just those peices, does anyone have any suggestions or know where I can get these??

    You can do it yourself, the JTR catalog explains it all and you can buy the speedo cable as well from them! it is kind of an expensive booklet but well worth the bucks if you want to do a v8 swap correctly!!!!

  20. Just another update. I got my new front air damn w/ducts in from motorsports, as well as the california style mirrors, they both look wonderful. I also got my fuel cell and battery cell in, now I can start cutting away to make a frame for them all in back.   21. you guys are doing it all wrong!! no my friend did this to his alum. block in his porsche, luckly my dad is a tool and die engineer. He came right over and fixed it this is what you need to do to get it out. Most likely you don't want to drill it out and retap it to a bigger hole. You get a smaller drill bit that the bolt size and carefully drill out alittle ways into the bolt. You get a special bit that cuts into the small hole and graps on to it and turn it out most of the time keeping the hole in perfect shape!!!!! I will have to ask him what the exact name of that little bit is that turns it out, and don't forget to spray the wizz out of it for a few days with wd-40 or similar product!!! Hell i could prob even get the bit and send it to you if you really need it. If the old man can get one out of an aluminum block in less that 2 mins you can surely get one out of your z. let me know if you want the bit.
  22. A friend of mine and I moved mine. We both are are in great shape and can lift alot but still I think three or four guys could get it!
