I can't vote because all the above prices are wayy to high.

I remember that being a pain. I put the gear in at about 12:00. I forget why, I think I must have taken some information the wrong way. Something about the books being wrong. In order to get the engine to run I had to either advance or retard (I think it's the second one) the distributor all the way. I realized that The books must have been correct with 11:25 and I got it to run well. If you're at TDC, it sounds like you could just drop the gear out and try again. You should be able to turn the oil pump to properly adjust the spindle. I had to do it with a helper to tell me when it was in the right place. Hope this helps, haha, hope it's quality info.

Agreed. Unless there is prior damage, I'd say it's alot better to go with a used original part. I don't really know very much about buying new hoods and their quality. I guess that's why I like the original idea.

I have noticed the same thing, the door didn't want to close easily. I haven't put the doors on since that, I'm guessing that they'll be fine.

I have aways wondered about the value. I don't know enough to say. Of course it's your choice, so I'm not not saying this to push you! but I'd lean to keeping the car white. Does white really hide bad body work?

I like the color choices but I'm not too fond of the stripe. The Z is so curvy it just doesn't seem to hold the stripe too well, but that's just me. If your car is a 72 I'd stick with the stock bumpers, maybe painted body color or somthing. I do dig the colors though. Post 200! :rambo:
