I feel really young hah. My zed is 11 years older than me. I can see the connection, once mine is finished it will be a street car, though i plan to race it lots too hehe.

Yeah i read that one of darwin awards. Would be pretty funny to picture it happening though. Until he's cruising along with his jet powered chev, and a zed overtakes him. hehe.

I know skimmo is in it, cause he was on the cover of the magazine haha. What's the deal with starting something like that? Have to tell any government authorities or anything? I wouldn't know where to start!

Yeah i'm on that site too. Good stuff. I was just in brisbane and i went in to the zed shop and the fella gave me the magazine for the last zed nationals, and yeah got me thinking. There are a lot of zeds in townsville, and most wouldn't be in the qld club, so i figured starting a club here might get more people down to nats, and it would also mean going on cruises, ooooh yeeaah.

1 bravo 6, at least you know at the shows you got the best zed there hehe. I'm building mine up for shows, and yeah i agree, people just don't know them. But there again, sometimes you're surprised by how many people do know them. I hope they stay cheap really. I don't plan on selling mine, but i do plan on buying the rest of them

Yeah same, i think it all added up to around $1000 for every rubber on the car. Might be better to go to a rubber place like clark rubber and tell them your car, they might be able to cut to size for a lot cheaper.

Haha, i can't! We're in the process of moving house, and mum said if i got a half pulled apart car she'll just get it sent to the dump. So once we've moved i'll be right in to it!

I've personally gone for a fixer upper. And i would now say go for one that is already driveable, and fix it up a bit more yourself. I hate seeing the car sitting there and not being able to drive it. It really really gets to you after a while.

True. Would it be cheaper and easier to get an RB25DET conversion done?

Who here has done it? I'm interested in doing it to save money on an engine conversion. Will the L26 take the being bored out and what not? Also if i'm going to do it what other mods would i be looking at?

I got some on my wheels, don't know what sort of condition, but datto zed wants them anyhow. Though i'm pretty sure the parts car i'm getting has them and i won't be needing them so i'll check the condition when i get it.

Wow that's amazing. I wish i could get my hands on to lots of Zeds, would mean the restoration of my first one would be a lot easier!
