		Bumping noise
		
		I'm not sure rick I had a clutch problem for a long time that i thought was a gearbox mount as it happened downgearing and would cause a shudder been told you can't get them anymore I bought a good second hand unit. got under the car went to the effort of pulling her out and discovered the one in there was near perfect. It could possibly travel have you checked for playing in the driveshaft there bolted on tight arn't they? You've made sure the top of the struts is tight at the shock tower also? I've never replaced a set of struts myself so i don't know if you can muck anything up yet . have you jacked the car up and tried for play with the wheel it self does it stay firm if u try move it side to side. If there was any way you could recreate the noise I think it might help i'm all outta ideas but.

		Starting a sitting motor part.2
		
		I understand I'm a newbie to ZX's but I'd like to learn the fuel system as I'm thinking of a career with computers and the tuning of cars and using computers to diagnose cars and prep race cars . Not sure if i'll go that way but I have an interest and I will probably go turbo FI in my 240z one day even if it's not permanent. Compression test could be ok but oil rings could be the problem with the smoke.

		Well i don't wanna get anyone in trouble but a fellow friend of mine ex-employee there told me at least I'm pretty sure it was him I'd have to ask him again as I was just so excited to meet a Z owner with 1 wicked ride that I dunno if it was him or not. Lindsy is a bad man sending them overseas making it harder to find them. However this is where he makes money out of them, they just arnt properly appreciated here in Australia $$$ wise.

Uncracked well restored and very wet looking I keep it that way using GTI Flash Dash dunno about it's availability but it works wonders doesn't attract much dust like armour oil or crack it for that matter (well not yet) and it stays wet for a good 2 months or more unlike armour oil 2 weeks tops -
