Carl, When you say "Dave's Place", are you referring to Rebello or another shop near you? I am up by Redding and have no one in the area who has ever touched a L24 engine. If "Dave's Place" is another shop, please give me their contact info. Thanks, David

Z Therapy recommended regular ATF for my carbs, which is what I used when I installed the new carbs. If you really want the 20W stuff, find an industrial lubricants supplier. I have a quart somewhere in my garage coolecting dust on a shelf, picked it up at a farm/ranch equipment supplier.

Go with the Pertronix! I have used one in my Z for the last 3 years with no isssues at all.
