everyone who works pays into Canadian pension plan ( CPP)which you can collect at age 65, but you can apply anytime before at age 60 and take less money the earlier you receive it. old age pension starts at 65 and everyone gets this. you have to pay taxes on these incomes even though you can't live on it. where i'm from few companies have pension plans, only public and government workers get it.

after 35 years on the high seas I retired on Wednesday. fished lake erie and lake huron ( commercial gill nets) mostly for perch walleye whitefish and lake trout. tough hard job. no pension, only a hardy hand shake and a fine farewell. fortunately me and the wife lived modestly within our means. the zed and 68 mustang ( which she recently sold) were the only extravagant purchase for us and that was late in life. after getting up at 3 oclock every morning now I can toss the alarm. lots of time to cruise and golf.

planning on entering the zcca judged car show in the s30 stock. will I be deducted points if I don't have my original spare tire and tool bag?

wife sold her 68 mustang today. being shipped out east to saint john new brunswick. had it 12 years, big block 390, she didn't drive it much. bought for $11000 sold for $9500. wife wanted 10 but the buyer ask if we could help out with the shipping so she gave him a $500 break. took it away on a flatbed. the driver drove it on. i was shocked, i've never had this done before, always had it winched on. got alot of thumbs up in it. sad to see it go.

getting ready for the driving season. i started up the 240 today and it sputtered and stalled awhile. finally got it running smoothly but i noticed that the alt meter would jump to the positive whenever i stepped on the gas. it never did this before. any reason for this to happen?

as most of you know I own a 72 240z colored lime yellow or code 112. I have always been under the impression that this color was only offered on the 72 model year. on ebay I see a 73 for sale with the same color code sticker. it's a beautiful car and has a repaint but according to the description is original color. my question is, did the 73 come in this color option?

my 72 zed is in the shop for brake repairs. needs pads, rotors, flex hoses and right front caliper. he can get most parts except rotors and right front flex hose. on ebay the prices are all over the place. i'm thinking black dragon or motorsport. any suggestions? also i'm in canada, is there anywhere here to get these parts. what should i expect to pay for pair of rotors and one flex hose? i really only need one rotor but i think i should get two. is there a right and left rotor? thanx

changed the oil in the zed today. first time i completed the job without spilling a drop on floor. i usually do the change in the fall before i put her in storage but i delayed until now.

i still use a synthetic chamois that i bought ten years ago. works great. i tried the as seen on tv shamwow. shave your money, they don't work worth a darn.

this was buzzing around our area all day today. also known as the flying fortress. based out of willow run michigan. they have a air show in august with the thunderbirds. for $600 you could go for a ride. limited seats.

alright, the obvious, it's a 48 star flag from 1912 to 1959 when hawaii joined the union. it was the longest in service flag for 47 years until july 4th 2007 when the current 50 star flag took over that distinction. the dimensions are 5 feet by 9 1/2 feet which is called a coffin or burial flag. commercial flags are usually 5 by 8. my ceiling is 9 feet and the flag still drags on the floor.
