Got-a do something different so take something, an a lot of different things, be creative try and make something cool out of it. Like I said I bought the car altered so I just keep changing it. I have owned 6 of the 240's 1-260 and 1-280 ( 2 seat ) coupes. I have had my share of them and this is the first one to go custom, different, a work in Progress. Everyone has to have a hobby.

I'll go with 2 each his own, once its changed (cut ) then there is no going back so then its anything goes. Living in back-water Fla near Red Neck Rd I like to stand out or like to have them ask me "Duh what is that there car anyway"

Anyone have any info on the custom Pantera look a like Z rear lid ????

Yea my Grand Dad lived to be 96 hope I have them gynes but if not, OL- well I try to drive the speed limit but then some young trick will come along an goose his ride and I just got to show them, :bulb: Its not pretty but she will FLY Will post New Body Works when shes done Next year

Was the owner of at least 5 and one I think I owned twice anyway I may of owned as many as 10 life time anyway thats what my sister said but I think she is counting the 3 GT 6s that I had back in the 70s . Any way now I have only 1 left of the 3 from the 90s that I owned and this last one is a 1973 240 Z with lot of engine work done and exhaust system, I have a half ton of New and Used parts all over the place and this 240 is going to the Body shop for a complete make over early next year and I will post picks of her when she is done. Hey that would be tellling my age, how ever I still run the wheels off my old zcar, she may not be painted pretty but will still run up to 110 without a problem and still has gas pedal left

Its just after say 1977/78 they tried to make the Z car into a family car with the zx and other models. Maybe I should not of called them crap, I'm just a 240 Z lover and have been since 1970 and have owned 10 Zs all between 1971 & 1978 short bodys and now I have only 1 Z left my 1973 240 fairlady.

I try to replace all the rear berings half shaftss & drive shaft every 3 years weather they need it or not.

Thats a crapy year Z car try finding one of the short body car between 1971 and 1978 the you have a real Z car the rest are crap

Could be your half shafts are going to hell

I have a 1973 240 normal asperation twin weber carbs runs great but needs paint and body work, have priced custom paint job for about $1600.00 I will be taking it back to AZ some time between end of March to maybe April 20th I usually trailer it between AZ & FL every other year.
