I've been watching this thread but have been reluctant to comment since I don't do much with carbs these days but worked with them quite a bit back when I had 240Zs, 510s, etc. You appear to be dealing with an unmatched set of carbs, Mickey Moused together by a previous owner. I doubt that you can ever get them to work properly. That, coupled with evidentally limited experience, led you to replace thing that might not have needed replacing. Rather than continuing to throw parts at the problem, as they say, why not start with a pair of proper carbs as Gary suggested? And get some hands on help. I'm not quite sure where San Mateo is but I don't think it's close to me or I'd volunteer.

So yours look like everyone elses?

How many jigawatts should the distributor produce? Serioulsy, Alan, you should disregard anything from the 7th post on. And welcome to the club. This is the first time I can recally us ever 'roasting' a new member but it's all in fun.

I think that Tomo is concerned because they sit out farther at the ends than they do the rest of the way, but I also think that is normal.

Not a bad rule if you consider how many people come here to sell something and it turns out to be their one and only post. Not placing you in that catagory, Will, just that it does happen here more often than not. I think there is some confusion here. Andrew bought a set of Cosworths and Will is selling a set. At least I think that I have that right. Cosworth makes high quality stuff but their stuff is better known outisde of the Z fraternity.
