  1. In case you didn't notice we're in australia buddy. We don't use miles or gallons here.
  2. While I can't answer your question, seeing as they're cheap parts I'd personally just bite the bullet and buy the ZX items and give it a go.
  3. Very cheap! That's a real surprise. I'd love to own an imaculate and totally original 1600 one day. They're certainly getting very rare these days....most of them chopped up for SR20 swaps and such.
  4. AFAIK, the flat tops first appeared over here in '74 on the 260Z. Correct me if I'm wrong.
  5. They're all over the place up here mate! You just have to laugh. I like your name for the them though...."hey, check out the wheatboys!".
  6. Owner seems to have withdrawn the K from Auction...
  7. I've just updated the link, as the old server is no more.

Just a heads up for the big datto lovers out there. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Classic-Datsun-240C_W0QQitemZ4610359166QQcategoryZ102220QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Very nice! Is that a genuine KPGC10 or a dressedup KGC10?
  10. Ouch! If you need someone to take ol precious for a run while you can't, I'm quite willing to drive down.
  11. Who is the aussie distributor for the watanabes? Just so everyone knows, you can get the konig rewinds in a 15x7, 0 offset from ozzy tires for $250/rim, your choice of colour etc. I'm pretty tempted.
  12. Good stuff Richard! Good to see you patience paid off. ...me three.
  13. There ya go
  14. Interesting. The reason we're all confused is that acording to pretty much everything that's been posted before, a rim of that size, but with close to a zero offset will fit just like you describe. It doesn't make sense that something with an offset that's 40mm bigger could also fit just the same.
  15. When you trial fitted them, did they fill out the arches, or did they sit in a fair bit?
  16. Hmm...that doesn't work very well on my computer mate. It's rather slow and the offset section is covered up. Ahh well.
  17. That warm and fuzzy "I won" feeling...... that is all.
  18. Hmm. Fair enough. Looking at the pics of the wheels again, they do definitely look like they have a large + offset. I'll be very interested to see how they look on the car.
  19. Spot on. I'm still a bit sus about that offset.....you sure the figures you've given are correct? Surely that large a positive offset would result in the tire/rim hitting the strut or at the very least they'd sit well within the arches and look a little silly. For a rim that size the offset should be very close to zero.
  20. Sorry to hijack the thread, but this is sort of appropriate while we're talking about nissan diffs... Does anyone here know just how strong the H190 is? You see, my 260C (see avatar) runs an H190 and I'd like to get an idea if it'll hold up to a more powerful engine?
  21. Agreed. While I can't speak for the Nismo LSD directly, we've been playing with a cusco 2-way here. The best oil/aditive combo we've found so far is Penrite's heaviest LSD oil (HPR160 or something like that) and the Nissan LSD fix oil. Turns it from a nasty chattering, banging, skipping, clunking thing into something that's quite smooth and driveable. In normal driving you wouldn't even know it had a mechanical diff.....but feed some power in and it'll lock up nicely.
